Compliance is an expression that is nowadays on everyone's lips. But what exactly is 'compliance'? Compliance is the term applied to the requirement to conform to certain guidelines and maintain specific behaviour standards.
And what does that mean with regard to EUROPART?
All directors, management staff and personnel of our organisation are obligated to comply with applicable legal stipulations, our corporate values program and requirements for standards of behaviour. These are summarised in our Code of Conduct. All our personnel are required to make sure that they are familiar with this and that they act accordingly. It is important that our corporate values program and requirements for standards of behaviour form the basis of our day-to-day work. Our management team bears special responsibility for ensuring that our corporate values program and requirements for standards of behaviour are communicated and implemented.
Violations of our Code of Conduct damage our corporate reputation. For this reason, we would request that all members of our personnel report to the appropriate authority any instances of non-compliance with, disregard or violation of legal stipulations or guidelines of which they become aware. We have also provided our external partners with the option of anonymously reporting any such cases they encounter through our website.
This is why we have created the EUROPART 'whistleblower' system. This enables individuals to contact in confidence an advisor who is obligated not to reveal the name of the whistleblower.
