ZF has been in existence for more than 100 years: Once founded as a specialist supplier to the aviation industry, the Group has since become a global supplier of mobility technology. The world of commercial vehicles would be inconceivable without ZF.
The Group, which acquired WABCO Holdings Inc. in 2020, is represented in 41 countries with 160,000 employees worldwide. In the commercial vehicle technology sector, ZF is one of the most important pacesetters and visionaries in truck, van, and bus driveline technology, as well as in commercial vehicle axle systems, chassis modules, damping technology, and driveline modules. ZF also has a strong presence in remanufacturing - which fits well with the company's sustainability goals: By 2030, ZF aims to reduce its carbon emissions by a whopping 80 percent compared to 2019. By 2040, ZF wants to be completely climate-neutral.
