EUROPART CEO Pierre Fleck announced a strategic development in Italy at the launch of the Transpotec 2017 trade fair in Verona from 22 - 25 February 2017: the leading trading company of spare parts and accessories for commercial vehicles has been setting up its network with renowned partners in the past three years successfully. Now, the Italian EUROPART subsidiary EUROPART Italia S.r.l. is heading to the next phase: even further growth is planned, in order to gain further market shares of the IAM.
“Although we have been active in the Italian market for only three years now, we can already offer our customers in Italy a comprehensive network of sales outlets all over Italy. This excellent growth within such a short time shows the great potential of the Italian market for EUROPART. Only three years ago, we have started with re-defining our business model. Now, in order to make even better use of the potential and to continue our success in Italy, we are more than ready targeting the next step,” said Pierre Fleck. “Within this year, we are aiming of growing strongly either by means of organizational expansion, cooperation with professional partners, joint ventures or takeovers. Our declared goal is to rise to the top two in the industry in the medium term."
As the EUROPART CEO further explained, EUROPART continues to rely on a strong network of established, regional partners in Italy: eight partners with a total of 16 branches cover the spare parts supply throughout the country – from Torino in the north to Catania in the south. "These partners have been active in their region for many years and are well-known to customers," says Fleck. "As EUROPART, we are responsible for a comprehensive range of parts with more than 400,000 parts, a powerful logistics and the advice of our central technical team. Our joint customers benefit from this collaboration throughout Italy."
Trade fair novelties on Transpotec 2017
At the Transpotec 2017, EUROPART will present itself in Hall 9, booth D14.1. The extensive program of EUROPART's own products is a key focus. "The demand for high-quality alternatives to original parts, i.e. suitable parts with the same functionality and quality, is growing steadily", explains the Italian EUROPART Country Manager Francesco Marangio. "EUROPART is pursuing a two-brand strategy: over 7,000 parts from the product range of our own brand EUROPART come to the extensive range of around 400,000 parts of the European brand manufacturers. In this way, we can offer a tailor-made solution for all demands and requirements. "
500 new products are added annually to the existing range of own brands. The range expansion includes additions to the existing core segment with new sizes, current models or additional variants, as well as new product groups that expand the program. "Our declared goal is to provide our customers in the truck segment with all the necessary spare parts, tools and accessories from a single source and, if possible, under our own brand EUROPART Premium Parts," explains Marangio.
New lights for truck and trailer
At the Transpotec fair, EUROPART will also present numerous new articles from the product range of its own brand. EUROPART has further expanded its product range, especially in the fields of electrical systems, lighting and cooling systems. In addition to LED rotating beacons with European homologations, various LED side-marker lamps and rear lights for trucks and trailers are now also available under the EUROPART Premium Parts brand - all with European approval. Also various working lamps with shock and vibration resistant plastic housing and CE certification are among the novelties in the EUROPART own brand assortment. All EUROPART lamps with LED technology are universally applicable for vehicles with 12 V or 24 V and even up to 55 V operating voltage.
Everything for the cooling system
EUROPART will be presenting further innovations in the cooling product area, which has recently been significantly expanded. Water pumps, coolers, coolant expansion tanks and fan-type Visco clutches have already been found in all the popular truck models in the own brand range. EUROPART has also added new coolant hoses and coolant thermostats for many current and older engine series.
The EUROPART radiators are made of a high-quality and at the same time light combination of plastics, aluminum and steel and very temperature-resistant. The exact production with the latest production methods ensures a high level of accuracy. All radiators are tested for leaks before delivery. The new Visco clutches in the EUROPART own-brand program are also manufactured to the highest automotive standards. They are designed for working temperatures from -40 to +150 degrees Celsius and equipped with high value ball bearings in original equipment quality. Thanks to high-quality materials, the exact compliance with all function-relevant dimensions and exact running, the EUROPART Visco clutches can transmit very large torques and ensure a constant coolant temperature.
The new thermostats use only premium materials. Thanks to the exact adherence to all functional dimensions, the EUROPART thermostats offer a high level of accuracy and reliability. This ensures that the opening temperature is precisely maintained, and that the thermostats regulate the flow and thus the temperature of the coolant exactly according to the manufacturer's specifications. The new EUROPART coolant hoses offer the same high quality, accuracy of fit and functional reliability. Only materials of original equipment quality are used in production. Thus, the hoses of ethylene-propylene-diene rubber are provided with a textile mesh of polyester (PET). As a result, the hoses meet all requirements of DIN ISO 73411 and SAE J20, are pressure and temperature resistant from -40 to +120 degrees Celsius and yet are flexible enough to accommodate all the roll and pitch movements of the engine.
Quality at the highest automotive level
EUROPART's own product range also includes consumables and workshop equipment, such as chemical products, oils and tools as well as parts from the areas of axle and brake, chassis, engine accessories, lighting and electrics, as well as equipment and accessories. For example, brake discs and pads are also available as EUROPART own-brand products, such as filters, air springs, windshield wipers or water pumps.
All products of the EUROPART own brand are tested by internal audits as well as by independent organizations according to the highest automotive standards.
