Honor at the German SME summit: Ranga Yogeshwar honors EUROPART at the TOP 100 innovation competition
Überlingen – Honoured at the German SME Summit: Ranga Yogeshwar honours EUROPART Holding GmbH from Hagen on its success in the TOP 100 innovation competition. The award ceremony at the Summit will be held on Friday evening, 24 June, in Frankfurt am Main for all SMEs that have been awarded the TOP 100 seal earlier this year. The scientific jour-nalist is supporting the innovation competition, which is being held for the 29th time, as a mentor. In the scientific selection process, EUROPART Holding was particularly convincing in size group C ("more than 200 em-ployees") in the categories "Climate of Innovation" and " Innovation-Promoting Top Management". This is already the second time that the company has been among the top innovators.
The TOP 100 company portrait released on the occasion of the award states (excerpt):
When brakes, filters or seals of a truck or van break down, spare parts have to be found quickly. EUROPART Holding delivers the required items from a range of more than 400,000 spare parts – if necessary, in as little as two hours. The leading partner of commercial vehicle workshops has a Europe-wide network consisting of more than 300 sales outlets in 28 countries.
Managing Director Olaf Giesen pulls out all the stops to pass on the energy and motivation that he himself exudes to his employees. For example, the 53-year-old hosts a regular podcast on the latest topics. Giesen also brings in his own ideas to make the everyday life of employees and customers more lively: He himself is a dog fan. And he has noticed that many of his custom-ers have dogs in their workshop. "From my point of view, the logical conse-quence of this was to supply treats for the workshop dogs," he reports.
