Sponsoring Team Reinert Racing - FIA European Truck Racing Championship
The last race weekend before the summer break was a first for René Reinert from our sponsors, Reinert Racing. For him, it was the first time on the racetrack in Slovakia.
Due to passing the track marker with all wheels at the Superpole, René Reinert was stripped of his fastest time and he started from 10th place in the first race of the weekend. In the end, René was able to fight his way up to 6th place behind his team mate Sascha Lenz. For the two of them, there was third place to fight for in the team championship as Team Reinert Adventure.
René Reinert was able to defend his starting position in 3rd in the second race on Saturday and was pleased to take a place on the podium.
The two races on Sunday ended in 7th place for René Reinert. Although René came in 2nd in the last race, he received a time penalty of 10 seconds due to overspeed. That still means 7th place in the overall classification for team Reinert Racing.
We look forward to the next race in the Czech Republic (Most), which will take place on the 1st and 2nd September.
